The satellite will provide DTH TV & Radio broadcasting.
Express-AT2 satellite is manufactured on RSCC’ order by the JSC “Academician M.F. Reshetnev “Information Satellite Systems“ in cooperation with Thales Alenia Space (France) within the framework of the Russian Federal Space Program for 2006-2015.
Express-AT2 was launched into orbit on March 16, 2014. The commercial operation of the satellite started on May 27, 2014.
