Without difficulties to the stars: RSCC and MIREA agreed to train qualified specialists for satellite industry
RSCC and MIREA – Russian Technological University (RTU MIREA) agreed to train and recruit specialists for radio electronics, communications, telemetry and satellite systems and complexes fields. RSCC General Director Alexey Volin and Rector of the University Stanislav Kudzh signed the contract. The ceremony took place on November 6 at RTU MIREA in Moscow.
The partnership includes joint career guidance activities, the creation of research and training centers as well as laboratories, the launch of specialized educational programs, and the organization of conferences, exhibitions, presentations, competitions, hackathons, contests, open days, and other events.
"What is particularly interesting for RSCC is the recruitment of RTU MIREA students for internships and graduates for employment at our company. We have many experienced professionals who have a lot to share with the youth. The second useful area is meetings during the Demo Days of the specialized Industrial Competence Center, so you can, as they say, learn firsthand what the industry currently needs and implement these principles to train the necessary personnel," says Alexey Volin.
RSCC is also interested in RTU MIREA's participation in the development and production of small batches of high-tech instruments and devices, as well as in engaging the institute's employees in IT and digital technologies projects.
During the meeting, the RTU MIREA Rector spoke about the upcoming quantum computing center, the existing College of Programming and Cybersecurity, and the Departmental Situation Center of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia at the university. Following the talks, the university's Deputy Director, Dmitry Vorunichev, presented the RSCC delegation with developments created at RTU MIREA and showed them:
- the RTU MIREA Cosmocenter;
- the Department of Design and Production of Radioelectronic Equipment;
- the Department of Radio Wave Processes and Technologies;
- as well as laboratories for 3D circuits on plastics and flexible carriers, assembly and installation, a specialized laboratory for technological processes in the production of radio electronic devices, 3D prototyping and control of multilayer printed circuit boards, and other research centers at the university.
