The show continues thanks to satellite: RSCC has organized the broadcasting of “Intervision” abroad

Three satellites of RSCC — Express-80, Express-AM6 and Express-103 — provided broadcasting abroad of the international music competition “Intervision 2025”, the final of which was held on September 20 in Moscow. With the help of satellite communications, viewers from Serbia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, China, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia were able to watch the participants of the show in real time. In total, according to the organizers, the broadcast was available to 4 billion people.

Residents of Russia could also watch the show with the help of the RSCC spacecraft: the company distributes Channel One in packages of the first RTRN multiplex, as well as in packages of a number of direct satellite broadcasting operators.

“This is not the first time that our satellites have provided global broadcast of such large and significant events. This year, for example, the parade on Red Square on May 9 was broadcast through RSCC spacecraft,” said Alexey Volin, General Director of the company.

RSCC satellites cover 81.4% of the Earth's territory and provide distribution to more than 1,100 TV channels worldwide.
