Import substitution in the CIPR: RSCC takes part in the CIPR 2024

RSCC participates in the conference "Digitalization of Industrial Russia" (CIPR) 2024. The event takes place on May 21-24 in Nizhny Novgorod. The company's telecommunications services are presented in Pavilion 3 at Stand 3.19.

The conference was attended by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who noted the importance of ensuring technological sovereignty in the IT sector and the smooth operation of enterprises. Specialized Industrial Competence Centers help to solve this problem.

The satellite industry is successfully replacing foreign technologies: this applies to both software and the production of satellites. "In cooperation with several companies, RSCC is engaged in reengineering algorithms and creating software based on the Russian Astra OS. In addition, according to our order, the first fully domestic telecommunications device "Express-AMU4" is under development. As for the manufacture of spacecraft, the electronic component base in the payload devices has already been replaced by 65%, and in the platform devices - by 91%," said Alexey Volin, General Director of RSCC and Chairman of the ICC "Satellite Communications". A domestic television signal encoding system has been also developed. Now, the service has passed tests at partner facilities and has been finalized for use in cable networks.

Within the framework of the event, Alexey Volin held talks with companies that showed interest in the possibilities of the RSCC constellation, and presented promising enterprise services such as precise point positioning and unmanned navigation.
