Memory of generations: Dubna SCC plants trees in honour of heroes of Great Patriotic War

15 September, on the premises of Russian Satellite Communications Company's branch, Dubna Satellite Communications Centre, trees were planted in memory of the people who died in the Great Patriotic War. Alexey Volin, Director General of RSCC, took part in the ceremony.

"Remembering the history of our country and the merits of the people who gave their lives for our future is very important. Victory comes on the shoulders of a soldier. And we commemorate all of these soldiers today. Back in the spring, RSCC employees joined the "Garden of Memory" project and planted dozens of trees at all of the enterprise's facilities. And although the action is formally over, we go on with it, because useful deeds should not be timed to dates but should come from the heart," said Alexey Volin.

At the event, Maxim Tikhomirov, interim mayor of the city, and Andrey Kulikov, director of the Dubna Satellite Communications Centre, delivered a welcoming speech. They emphasized the great role of such actions in preserving the memory of the Victory.
