Satellites over the bay: RSCC presents satellite constellation capabilities at Cabsat 2022

The Cabsat 2022 international exhibition, the largest event in the Middle East region dedicated to satellite communications, broadcasting and the digital media industry, opened in Dubai on 17 May.

Russian Satellite Communications Company presented to its international partners and exhibitors modern satellite services provided using its own satellite constellation consisting of 13 spacecraft. Four of them – Express-AM8, Express-AM44, Express-AM7 and Express-AM6 positioned from 14°W up to 53°E – provide stable coverage in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). They make possible to organise television and radio broadcasting, data exchange, Internet access, as well as maritime communication services in the region. Of particular interest are the capabilities of the RSCC satellite constellation for the organisation of 5G networks in the Middle East region.

“Promotion of satellite services in the Middle East market is one of the main areas of the RSCC business development. We are always open for cooperation on a wide range of issues both with our existing partners and with new potential customers. From the first day of the exhibition, we can see a great interest of foreign customers in RSCC’s services. I am sure that we will be able to expand existing contracts and agree on new projects,” said Alexey Volin, Director General of RSCC.

The international exhibition and panel discussions will be held in Dubai for three days: from 17 to 19 May 2022. This year, the exhibition presents 280 exhibitors from all over the world and is attended by 10,000 visitors from 120 countries. We invite you to visit stand D8-20, Hall 8, Dubai World Trade Center, and learn about the company's services.
