The total Brazilian audience of RSCC satellites exceeded 40 million people

In the highly competitive segment of the TV distribution, there is no place for emotions, everything depends on the service quality and target audience coverage. The successful experience of the major Brazilian TV channel, TV Difusora, which began broadcasting to the northeastern part of Brazil via Express AM8 in August 2021, came to the attention of several TV companies targeting the Brazilian audience.

After some tests, the satellite operator RSCC and the service provider Romantis Brazil signed contracts for distributing educational channels Univesp TV and TV Educação of the broadcasting holding TV Cultura Paulista in the state of São Paulo, the TV Goiania channel in the state of Goiás and the TV Assembleia do Maranhao television company’ channel in the state of Maranhão. The total audience living in the three largest states is more than 40 million people. All the TV channels are broadcast through spacecraft Express AM8 located in geostationary orbit at 14°W using the monitoring center organized by Romantis and RSCC specialists in the city of Uberlândia.

“We are pleased to realize that the strategy of entering the South American market, implemented by us within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation with RSCC, was chosen correctly. Since 2012, we have been working in this region, which included obtaining Landing Rights in Brazil, building a monitoring station for the Express-AM8 satellite, as well as actively participating in industry events. As a result, all these steps lead to success,” said Alexey Parshin, General Director of Romantis GmbH.

“Today, an increasing number of Brazilian TV channels choose Express-AM8 among many competitive offers, which confirms the high quality of its work. This year we plan to attract new customers to this satellite,” said Andrй Balthazar, Director of Romantis Brazil.

“Brazilian companies are a priority for the RSCC to develop long-term relations in the Latin American region. We are aimed at continuous work to provide high quality services and expand the opportunities that will help our Brazilian partners have a wide audience coverage and business growth,” says Alexey Volin, General Director of RSCC.
