Business events of RSCC at the Svyaz 2021 exhibition-forum
On the opening day of the exhibition, the RSCC stand was visited by Maxim Parshin, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, and Andrei Goncharov, Head of the Main Directorate of Research Activities and Technological Support of Advanced Technologies (Innovative Research) of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
On June 16, Day 2 of the exhibition, Alexander Egorov, Lead Specialist of the RSCC Communication Systems Development Service, spoke at the thematic session "Satellite Communications: Main Trends, Technologies" of the Svyaz-2021 forum, organized by RBC. In the afternoon, the RSCC stand offered a series of presentations dedicated to Ka-band satellite broadband access.
Mikhail Glinka, Director of the RSCC Sales Department of Operator and Corporate Solutions, presented a report on the prospects for the development of the RSCC satellite communication networks and new solutions offered by the enterprise in the market of VSAT services. Andrey Romulov, Commercial Director of Sputnikovaya Svyaz LLC (Iskra group of companies), spoke about how the profile of a satellite broadband user has changed during the pandemic: for example, operator Strizh customers have shown a greater demand for distance education and increased digital literacy. Dmitry Morozov, director of business development at Raduga-Internet LLC, made a report on the provision of VSAT services on ships and other mobile objects. In his view, the maritime VSAT today is one of the drivers of the company's development. The series of presentations was completed with a briefing by Hughes Network Systems, a technology partner of RSCC. Yuri Fomin, Sales Director of Hughes Network Systems in Russia and the CIS, spoke about the technological solutions of the company, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
