Staff members of the Zheleznogorsk Space Communication Center were awarded with letters of appreciation from the Legislative Assembly of Krasnoyarsk Krai

Letters of appreciation from the Legislative Assembly of Krasnoyarsk Krai were given to four employees of the Zheleznogorsk Space Communications Center:

  • Vladimir Fedorchenko, lead engineer of the operation and maintenance department;
  • Alexander Slobozhanin, engineer of the operation and maintenance department;
  • Dmitry Salnikov, assistant security director of the SCC;
  • Anna Yudina, lead accountant of the SCC;

 

 Information about Zheleznogorsk SCC:

Zheleznogorsk Space Communications Center (SCC) is a branch of the Russian Satellite Communications Company – the largest teleport in Siberia. It was established in 2004 as a base of the Eastern part of the Russian Satellite Communications Company's satellite constellation. The official birthday of the SCC is May 27, 2004. At present, the technical complex of the Zheleznogorsk SCC is able to manage and monitor communication satellites in geostationary orbit to provide acceptance tests and monitoring of the payload of the RSCC satellites, acceptance tests of the VSAT subscriber stations, and to organize broadcasts of the all-Russian digital TV and radio to the Far East and Siberia.

The Zheleznogorsk SCC uses numerous antenna systems for various purposes, including the provision of communications services for residents of Siberia, the Far East and the Polar Regions.
