Live telecast of the Annual Message of the President of the Russian Federation to the Federal Assembly via the RSCC satellites was available throughout the country and abroad

The live satellite transmission of the address was arranged with the participation of specialists from Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC).

Yuri Prokhorov, the Acting General Director of RSCC, says: “The live telecast proceeded without a hitch, using the Express-AM7, Express-AM5 and Express-AM8 satellites, the ground-based technical facilities of the RSCC’s Space Communications Centers (SCCs) and the Shabolovka Technical Center. In view of the importance of the high-profile event, the RSCC specialists had put in place all the necessary measures well in advance, ensuring full redundancy of the lines delivering TV signals to the SCCs."
