RSCC is a partner of the "Immortalized on stamps" exhibition, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

From September 12, 2020 to October 11, 2020, the St. Petersburg-based Central Museum of Communications named after A.S. Popov (CMC) is hosting an exhibition entitled "Immortalized on Stamps" dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. RSCC is acting as a partner of the event.

The main exhibits are stamps issued during the Great Patriotic War. The postage stamps immortalize the heroes of the Soviet Union and Hero Cities, military operations and selflessly toiling workers and collective farmers, offering collective images of soldiers of various types of armed services. For the first time on public display are the original sketches for military stamps. Visitors can compare how the published stamps differ from the ideas of graphic artists.

The exhibition is complemented by wartime postcards and letters, as well as such hardware as radio broadcasting and military communication equipment from the museum's collections.

You will recall that in 2020, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and support the all-Russia Movement of People's Memory, RSCC has launched a special page "Immortal Regiment of RSCC" featuring information about the heroes who were part of the events of those years. In addition, RSCC, together with distributors of satellite communications services, organized a special-offer campaign, "In the Runup to the 75th Anniversary of the Great Victory", to obtain satellite broadband access connectivity. The results of this event will be announced on October 8 at the Conference "SATCOMRUS 2020".
