RSCC in collaboration with its partners on the satellite broadband project launches the promo “For the 75th Anniversary of the Great Victory”
Such providers as Ka-Internet, Raduga-Internet, Strizh and Teleport are involved in the promo as RSCC’s partners on the High-Speed Satellite Access System (HSSAS) project. The promo will be held in all regions serviced by the Ka-band HSSAS using RSCC’s Express-AM5 and Express-AM6 satellites.
To participate in the promo, an individual subscriber is invited to buy, install and activate Hughes Jupiter equipment during the connection period from April 21 to May 31, 2020, select a billing plan and enter into a relevant agreement with the provider. After that, free 75 Gb of traffic will be activated and available until December 31, 2020. This bonus is available as an addition to the basic tariffs provided that the monthly fee is paid on a timely basis according to the selected tariff. More about the HSSAS
The High-Speed Satellite Access System (HSSAS) covers the European part of Russia, the Urals, Siberia and the Far East. Satellite broadband services are provided through the Russian heavy-class spacecraft Express-AM6 (53° E) and Express-AM5 (140° E). The total length of the Ka-band service area is 7 thousand km. At the beginning of 2020, more than 17 thousand subscribers were connected to the system, the number of users exceeds 40 thousand. Technical capabilities of the HSSAS allow providing services to 200 thousand subscribers with an average Internet access speed of 6–10 Mbit/s.
