RSCC awarded Tricolor a special prize of Bolshaya Tsifra Award

Russian Satellite Communications Company has traditionally been a partner of Bolshaya Tsifra, the National Award in the field of multi-channel digital TV. The award ceremony was held for the eleventh time as part of the CSTB exhibition and forum Telecom and Media at Crocus Expo IEC (Moscow).

Awarding the prize, Lyudmila Mikhaylina, the head of the Television and International Sales Department of RSCC, noted that “in 2019, Tricolor became a leader among Russian satellite platforms promoting new services for the public. Satellite broadband in addition to TV packages is among them, including a new Ka-band frequency; the company also came to OTT-platform market. In addition, RSCC and Tricolor implemented a new technological solution is used on Russian satellites, which makes it possible to use satellite capacity efficiently and form television packages in HD format. Thus, the special RSCC prize is a just award to our respected partner - Tricolor.”
