Organized by Raduga-Internet, Isatel, and RSCC, the event was attended by technical specialists of the companies from the Maritime Province, Khabarovsk Territory and Irkutsk region.

On 22 March 2016, the Khabarovsk Space Communications Center (SCC) (an RSCC branch), and Raduga-Internet, and Isatel companies conducted a seminar/presentation devoted to a new satellite Internet service for subscribers in Siberia and the Far East. The services are provided based on RSCC’s Express-AM5 satellite (140E) in the Eastern Segment of the RSCC-run High-Speed Access System (HSAS).

The participants were familiarized with the installation and tuning of the equipment, and opportunities to develop and expand their business under the new partnership program. They discussed equipment distribution and how to build a network of regional warehouses. The participants were also taken for a tour of the SCC Khabarovsk.

The regional technical specialists attending the seminar noted that the Express-AM5 satellite ensures reliable reception and transmission in Ка-band over the entire coverage area via a small-diameter antenna (0.74-0.98m). The use of hi-tech and promising Ка-band and state-of-the-art user equipment makes it possible to achieve high speeds at minimal cost of the traffic.
