The involvement with the accelerator will allow obtaining an expert project potential assessment for communications systems on a highly elliptical orbit and also formulating the best project implementation model.
A corporate accelerator at the Directors Club for Research and Innovation has been set up and running in Russia to be a venture capital market development tool involving Russian corporations in technology startups as strategic investors. FGUP Russian Satellite Communications Company has submitted to the accelerator the project titled 'Satellite Communications and Broadcasting System in Highly Elliptical Orbit' (HEO) focusing on mobile communications and direct broadcasting services throughout Russia, including over remote northern latitudes. The involvement with the accelerator will allow RSCC to obtain an expert project potential assessment for communications systems on a highly elliptical orbit and also to formulate the best project implementation model. In addition, during the upcoming discussions, the company expects to receive investment recommendations on how to implement the project.
The club accelerator is integrated into the federal contest 'GenerationS' founded by JSC Russian Venture Company and the Moscow Center for Innovative Development. Projects selected by experts will be put forward to the final session of the GenerationS contest. However with this purpose in mind, the accelerator is oriented exclusively to high-tech projects.
