Using planned frequencies of transponder group F on board RSCC’s heavy Express-AM5 satellite opens up fresh opportunities for one of the largest VSAT operators in Russia to boost its business.

Supported by RSCC specialists, the AltegroSky group of companies has completed scheduled efforts to increase its network capacity using the new heavy Express-AM5 satellite (140E).

AltegroSky CEO, Sergey Pekhterev, remarks: “Aware of our responsibility to our customers, we have consistently expanded our leased communications channels, building up this segment of our investment program to ensure guaranteed quality of services and AltegroSky solutions across the entire RF territory”.

Evgeny Buidinov, RSCC Deputy General-Director for Innovations, thanked AltegroSky for selecting RSCC’s satellite capacity and for the group’s decision to develop its hi-tech business on the basis of group F transponders on board the recently launched Express-AM5 satellite. Evgeny Buidinov also noted that “AltegroSky’s approach is used by many operators, including RSCC, that are interested in continued high-quality buildup of communications networks in the Far East and Siberia.”
