On April 24, 2019, the Extended Meeting of Rossvyaz on the results of 2018 and work plans for 2019 was held at the Expocenter Fairgrounds Moscow. The meeting was attended by representatives of the RSCC. At the plenary part, Konstantin Noskov, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, and Oleg Dukhovnitsky, Head of the Federal Communications Agency, presented to the RSCC Director General Yuri Prokhorov the Presidential Certificate of appreciation for achievements in advancing satellite communications and recognizing his many years of diligent work.
In addition, Sergey Fedonin, Head of the RSCC Mission Control Center, received the Government of Russia Honorable Mention.
The main report on the wrap-up of the Rossvyaz activities in 2018 and plans for the current year was made by the head of the Federal Communications Agency Oleg Dukhovnitsky. The participants of the event were shown a video about the activities of Rossvyaz, timed to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the Agency.
The Minister of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, Konstantin Noskov, in his speech emphasized the importance of the Rossvyaz enterprises participating in the national Digital Economy program. In particular, as part of this program, the RSCC is expected to participate in the Information Infrastructure federal project with its upcoming Express-RV satellite communications system in highly elliptical orbits.
The plenary session ended with the cancellation ceremony of the postage stamp dedicated to 15th anniversary of Rossvyaz.
In the second half of the Extended Meeting, a round table discussion was held on Creating a Unified Alert Platform, which was moderated by the Deputy Head of the Federal Communications Agency Igor Chursin.
The Extended Meeting of Rossvyaz was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, federal executive agencies, business community, telecom operators, public organizations, the media and organizations subordinate to Rossvyaz.
