RSCC Deputy General Director Ksenia Drozdova participates in All-Russia conference "Looking into the electronic future" 2016

As a member of the "Internet + City" subgroup on the use of Internet information and telecommunication network in the domestic economy to shape its technology base and enhance the social sphere, Ksenia Drozdova spoke at the forum on implementing IoT applications based on the use of satellite communications on mobile objects.

The third conference of professionals in the field of digital services for the state and society, "Looking into the electronic future", opened October 20, 2016 in Sochi, organized by the Federation Council Commission for the Development of the Information Society and the Rostelecom company.

Registered to participate in the conference are more than 400 professionals in the field of digital services that are intended to help tackle economic and social issues. Among the participants are representatives of federal and regional authorities, municipalities, scientific and educational institutions, IT companies, equipment manufacturers, and others.

Addressing the plenary session were Lyudmila Bokova, the Chair of the Interim Commission for Information Society Development of the Federation Council, Sergei Kalugin, President of Rostelecom, and Ruslan Gattarov, Deputy-Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region.

The business program of the conference included an offsite meeting of the "Internet + City" subgroup. One of its members was Ksenia Drozdova, RSCC Deputy Director General for Business Development. The subgroup is part of a larger working group on the use of Internet in the domestic economy and the shaping of its new technology base, and in the social sphere. The meeting discussed a draft road map for implementing industrial Internet and informatization of various areas of urban life. In her report, Ksenia Drozdova spoke about the implementation of IoT applications using satellite communications on mobile objects.
