Russian Satellite Communications Company participates in “Transport of Russia 2018” for the first time. The exhibition is held at the Gostiny Dvor on 20-22 November as part of the Transport Week. The Head of the Federal Communications Agency Oleg Dukhovnitsky visited RSCC booth on the first exhibition day.
The RSCC booth demonstrates complete turnkey satellite communication solutions for mobile units based on VSAT technology. Innovative solutions of RSCC allow to provide users with a full range of telecommunication services including Internet access, VoIP telephony, video surveillance, remote access to local area networks of enterprises, transfer of telemetric information, etc. to a mobile unit at a speed of up to 30 Mbit/s. Currently, more than 230 marine vessels operate in VSAT network of Russian Satellite Communications Company. Broadband Internet access is provided by the company’s constellation of 12 geostationary-orbit satellites.
During the exhibition, RSCC with its project “Satellite Broadband Access on Marine Vessels” was nominated for the “Formula of Movement” award in category “Best Solution in Transport Digitalization”.
The international forum and exhibition “Transport of Russia” are held within the scope of “Week of Transport” - an annual business forum involving a series of all-Russian and international events aimed at the discussion of the most relevant transportation issues and strengthening of collaboration between the representatives of governmental authorities and the business community.
The exhibition gathers representatives of transportation vehicles manufacturers, cargo and passenger transportation operators, transport infrastructure operators, service institutions, and logistic companies.
