RSCC satellite communication channel successfully transmitted information to the EGAIS system during the full-scale tests of the stand simulating the operations of a retail store.
Representatives of the Ministry of Communications of Russia, Federal Service for Regulation of the Alcohol Market (“Rosalkogolregulirovaniye”), and RSCC took part in full-scale tests of the stand simulating the operations of a retail store selling alcoholic beverages. During the demonstration that was held in the territory of Rosalkogolregulirovaniye, the scanner for excise stamps and online cash register were connected to the database of the Unified State Automated Information System (EGAIS) through a satellite communication channel.
The presentation of the demonstration stand was conducted by the Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Regulation of the Alcohol Market Aleksei Kruzhalin and RSCC Deputy Director General for Innovative Development Evgeny Buydinov. This work was organized in accordance with the instructions of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, a member of the Government Commission on Enhancing Competitiveness and Regulation of the Alcohol Market Alexander Khloponin.
The participants in the tests confirmed the reliability of satellite technologies and the possibility of using them to transmit information to the EGAIS system throughout the Russian Federation.
