RSCC at CSTB Telecom & Media 2019: New Solutions for Content Delivery and Broadband Internet

RSCC will take part in the exhibition-forum CSTB 2019, which will be held from January 29 to January 31, 2019 at the Crocus Expo in Moscow. At the RSCC booth, information will be presented to visitors on the development of satellite broadband access services, the latest solutions for the provision of communication services on sea vessels, and also on promising satellite broadband access projects in the Ka-band frequency range using the Russian Express-AM satellites.

On January 29, Day 1 of the exhibition, at 2.30 p.m., Conference Room D (Pavilion 2) will see RSCC and Telesputnik publishing house holding a round table “Myths and Facts about the Role of Satellite Technologies for Video Content Delivery”. There, experts from leading satellite communication companies will discuss the existing options for delivering video content to the Russian and international markets. They will also touch on the specifics of satellite technologies and their pros and cons, as well as look into new opportunities and growth points. Admission is free.


On January 30, at 11.00 a.m., the RSCC booth will host a series of satellite broadband access projects, including:

• 11:00 - Svetlana Sirotkina, Ka-Internet JSC

• 11:15 - Andrei Romulov, JSC Iskra DB

“Strizh Internet operator: the path to customer loyalty”

“Maritime VSAT: provision of communication services on sea-going vessels”.

On January 29, as part of the CSTB 2019, the 10th National Big Digit Award will be presented, RSCC being its traditional partner. At the Big Digit awarding ceremony, the RSCC will announce the winner in a special nomination “For Contribution to the Development of Satellite Communications and Broadcasting in Russia”.
