RSCC broadcasts first federal multiplex software package to Far East and Siberia

Pursuant to the Federal Target Program 'Development of Broadcasting in the Russian Federation for 2009-2015', on June 27, 2014 at 16.00, the RSCC team lifted off the first multiplex (RTRS-1) software package into the broadcasting zones A and B, specifically, those providing coverage of Russia's Far East and Siberia.

Pursuant to the Federal Target Program 'Development of Broadcasting in the Russian Federation for 2009-2015', on June 27, 2014 at 16.00, the team of Russian Satellite Communications Company lifted off the first multiplex (RTRS-1) software package into the broadcasting zones A and B, specifically, those providing coverage of Russia's Far East and Siberia.

The lift-off took place from the Khabarovsk Space Communications Center and involved further lifting beyond the orbit of the RSCC satellites.  Thus, Russian Satellite Communications Company operating under the authority of the Federal Communications Agency has made its contribution to framework Federal Target Program 'Development of Broadcasting in the Russian Federation for 2009-2015'.
