April 8, 2019, on the eve of the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Belarusian satellite operator Belintersat and the Russian operator RSCC, the Space Communications Center (Minsk) hosted talks with the participation of the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Konstantin Noskov.The top executives of the two operators told the Minister about the potential of their enterprises and possible options for cooperation. Konstantin Noskov inspected the Mission Control Center, the Monitoring Center, and the Belintersat antenna system.
RSCC expands cooperation with leading industry universities
To encourage employment of young specialists in the satellite communications industry, RSCC continues to pursue active cooperation with leading industry universities, subordinated to the Federal Communications Agency (Rossvyaz). In 2019, students of the Volga State University of Telecommunications and Informatics (PSUTI) have undertaken an internship at RSCC in the framework of the Education section of the Rossvyaz Research & Development Board. Among the RSCC subdivisions hosting the trainees are the Orbital Constellation Operations Service, the facilities of the GCC (Ground Control Complex) and ASMI (Automated System of Monitoring and Measurements), the Shabolovka Technical Center, and the Information Technology Service.
