The event organized by the RSCC in partnership with "KB Iskra" JSC, was attended by over 50 representatives of the professional industry community of Krasnoyarsk Territory and other regions of Siberia - CEOs and CTOs of companies working in the field of satellite communications and VSAT-technologies.
The main topic of this dealer seminar was the use of new Russian satellites to develop telecommunications infrastructure of the Siberian region and to provide modern services of satellite high-speed access to information resources in the Ka-band.
Eugene Buydinov, RSCC Deputy General Director for Innovative Development, adderessed the delegates. He thanked the partners for their active participation in the project of High-speed Access Satellite System (SSVD) and their interest in the latest technology of satellite broadband access in the Ka-band through the new Russian satellites "Express-AM5" and "Express-AM6".
Rais Muratov, director of SCC "Zheleznogorsk", Vadim Zhukov, deputy director - chief engineer of SCC "Zheleznogorsk", Mikhail Glinka, head of RSCC implementation department, Oleg Morozov, director of communications of "KB" Iskra JSC, Dmitryi Smykov, head of the department of "KB" Iskra JSC spoke to the guests of the Siberian branch of the RSCC. Oleg Morozov shared his experience of providing services in the Ka band. "The project started less than a year ago, but we can sum up the first results: 11,450 subscribers, 40 partner companies, 7 regions of Russia in the Ka-band. We are active in the regions: we constantly increase the number of warehouses and, as a consequence, reduce the delivery time of equipment", he said.
The workshop included the demonstration of a Ka-band satellite dish assembly process, practical sessions on the set up, installation and alignment of the equipment, etc. The guest also enjoyed a tour of SCC "Zheleznogorsk".
