RSCC is presenting its upgraded satellite constellation to highlight options for it use to eliminate the digital divide that affects various regions of Russia, and provide citizens with modern telecommunication services and digital broadcasting. Together with its partners, RSCC announces commissioning of satellite broadband network in the Ka-band on Express-AM6 satellite in the Central and South-Ural region of Russia.
From 10 to 13 May 2016, Moscow’s "Expocenter" at Krasnaya Presnya will be hosting an International Exhibition of Information and Communication Technologies "Sviaz (“Communications”) - 2016". The event is officially supported by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, and the Federal Communications Agency (Rossviaz).
Among the key events of the business program, to be attended by representatives of RSCC, is an extended Rossviaz meeting on the results of 2015 and plans for 2016, the Grand Media Communication Forum, the 10th International Navigation Forum, and the 20th International Forum of International Academy of Communications.
On 10 May 2016, as part of "Communications - 2016" exhibition, the 9th VSAT Championship will be held with the support of Rossviaz. With RSSS acting as co-organizer, the championship is a professional competition for satellite communication specialists. The Championship will be followed by an official event to mark the commissioning of the nationwide high-speed satellite access system to operate in the Ka-band.
From 10 to 12 May 2016, at the joint stand of RSCC and its partners, presentations will be arranged of new broadband access services in the Ka band, and communications services for sea and river vessels, and services and solutions offered by the Russian satellite communications operators for new international markets.
