Express-MD1
A broadcasting and communications Express-MD1 launched on 11 February, 2009. Satellite is produced by Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center jointly with Thales Alenia Space Italy under the order of Russian Satellite Communications Company.
Express-MD1 satellite is designed to provide digital TV & radio broadcasting, telephony, data transmission, multimedia, VSAT applications.
The Express-MD1 spacecraft is equipped with with fixed antenna systems, that provide high-quality communications and uniform coverage in C- and L- bands. Countries and areas covered by Express-MD1 Satellite - Russia and Asia.
