Express-AM44
A new broadcasting and communications Express-AM44 launched in February, 2009. Satellite is produced by NPO PM named after Academician M. Reshetnev jointly with Thales Alenia Space under the order of Russian Satellite Communications Company.
The satellite is designed to provide TV & radio broadcasting, telephony, data transmission, multimedia, mobile communications.
The Express-AM44 spacecraft is equipped with up-to-date antenna systems, that provide high-quality communications and uniform coverage in C-, Ku- and L- bands. Countries and areas covered by Express-AM44 Satellite - Europe, Middle East, Africa and east cost of America.
