Express-AM33

A broadcasting and communications Express-AM33 96,5°E launched on 28 January, 2008 from Baikonur Cosmodrome, entered operation on 14 April, 2008. Satellite is produced by NPO PM named after Academician M. Reshetnev jointly with Thales Alenia Space under the order of Russian Satellite Communications Company within the bounds of the Russian Federal space plan for 2006-2015.

Express-AM33 satellite is designed to provide TV & radio broadcasting, telephony, data transmission, VSAT applications, multimedia services, presidential and governmental mobile communications, commercial mobile communication.

The Express-AM33 spacecraft is equipped with with up-to-date antenna systems, that provide high-quality communications and uniform coverage in C-, Ku- and L- bands. Countries and areas covered by Express-AM44 Satellite - Russia, Kazakhstan, northукт areas of Middle East, Mongolia and China
