Moscow hosted the 4th meeting of the Working Group on Satellite Technologies under the RCC Operators Board

The meeting participants discussed the initial results of the use of the Ka-band on Russian satellites, the impact of new TV broadcasting standards on the use of the satellites controlled by the operators in the RCC participant countries, and the need to simplify registration procedures for satellite earth stations on the CIS countries.

RSCC took part in the 4th meeting of the Working Group on Satellite Technologies, organized under the Council of Telecommunication and Infocommunications Operators of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC).

The event took place on December 22, 2017 in Moscow in video conferencing mode.

In accordance with the work plan of the Group, the meeting participants discussed the initial results of the use of the Ka-band on Russian satellites, the impact of new TV broadcasting standards on the use of the satellites controlled by the operators in the RCC participant countries, and the need to simplify registration procedures for satellite earth stations on the CIS countries.

Beside the RSCC experts, the event was attended by specialists from Beltelecom, AO Republican Center for Space Communications, Intersputnik, the Russian Broadcasting and Alert Networks, and the Executive Committee of the RCC.
