Cosmically, digitally, sovereignly: Alexey Volin spoke about the importance of satellite communications at the International Festival of Youth

The Russian Satellite Communications Company continues to host its exhibition at the International Festival of Youth 2026. Thousands of participants have already visited the “Highways of the Future” exhibition area, which showcases the company's satellite constellation. The event runs until September 17.

On September 15, the company’s stand was visited by First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Chief of Staff of the Government Executive Office Dmitry Grigorenko. General Director of RSCC Alexey Volin reported to the Deputy Prime Minister and the First Deputy Head of the Administration on the progress of building eight new spacecraft. He noted that the satellites are being developed as part of an import substitution program and 370 Russian enterprises, employing nearly 80,000 people, are involved in the production.
