Processed communication: RSCC tested new equipment in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

The Russian satellite operator RSCC continues to actively cooperate with the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia): the company held a demonstration of the latest domestic satellite communication terminals with small and ultra-small apertures, developed as part of the import substitution program, in the region. Representatives of RSCC also met with Pyotr Nikolaev, Minister of Innovation, Digital Development, Information and Communication Technologies of the Republic. During the meeting, they discussed the development of communications and satellite services in the region.

RSCCs employees also discussed with their partners the impact of LEO constellations on the further development of the domestic satellite fleet in the geostationary orbit, the changes that have recently occurred in the market of user terminals in Russia, and the prospects for the further development of the satellite telecommunications market over the next 3-5 years. Leading Russian satellite communications operators and manufacturers of satellite equipment also attended the events.
