In his report “On developing the satellite constellation to support the TV&Radio broadcasting", Yuri Prokhorov paid special attention to the  advanced heavy spacecraft Express-AM4, Express-AM5, and Express-AM6, the company has been working now on.

“Development and delivery into the orbit of the new spacecraft will enable the company to fulfill the task of primary importance to establish advanced telecommunications infrastructure required for digital broadcasting on the whole territory of the Russian Federation in the context of the Federal Target Program “Development of TV&Radio broadcasting till 2009 – 2015”, -emphasized  Yuri Prokhorov. A successful renovation of the satellite constellation will promote satisfying the growing demand for satellite capacity on the part of TV&Radio broadcasters interested in further development of the digital networks using modern standards.”
