RSCC won the tender on providing communications services to the Federal Taxation Authority of the Russian Federation.

On December 30, 2009, the Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) won the tender on providing communications services for the system of audio and video broadcasting, circular data distribution and video conferencing for Federal Taxation Authority of the Russian Federation (FTA of Russia) as well as the services of backing up the terrestrial communications channels in 2010, that was announced by the FTA of Russia.

As per the tender documentation terms and conditions, RSCC will provide services to 93 FTA regional administrations in 82 RF subjects using RSCC’ VSAT network.

“Winning the tender, announced by FTA of Russia, on providing the communications services is very important to RSCC. The company pays special attention to providing services for the sake of state customers. Thanks to using our own VSAT network and satellite constellation, we have started providing communications services to the regional FTA administrations located over the whole territory of Russia since January 1, 2010, within minimum short terms” – stressed Yuri Prokhorov, RSCC’ Acting Director General.
